The Senior Field Marketing Specialist is part of an innovative worldwide marketing team and the key partner with the Field Marketing Leader, executing awareness, demand generation and sales enablement activities for our fast-growing verticals. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a successful marketing plan for our U.S. Public Sector verticals including Federal, State and Local Government and Network Service Providers in alignment with sales objectives, global company positioning, and regional market strategies. This role requires great creativity, the ability to communicate effectively across varying organizational levels and teams, the ability to manage competing priorities, and exceptional project management skills.


Responsibilities
• Supports highly targeted marketing programs to encourage strategic engagement with Equinix
• Supports high impact product/solution/service launches within their territory in alignment with regional launch plans
• Executes on different types of events within the territory from start to finish including event management and logistics pre and post event, including working with 3rd parties and agencies to deliver the right event experience and ROI
• Contributes to the reporting on events and campaigns to measure campaign effectiveness including Opportunities and Deal Registrations

• Excels at cross-group collaboration
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
• Self-confidence to sell ideas and brief agencies and internal stakeholders
• Experience with database and direct marketing tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
• Understanding of partner/channel marketing a plus
• Federal/Public Sector experience a plus
