Senior Cloud Software Engineer

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• We need practical experience with at least one major cloud provider, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• We expect advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or similar tools.
• We look for strong experience with DevEx and CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, Spinnaker, Bitbucket, GitHub, and related tools.
• We require a solid understanding of cloud security best practices, shift-left approaches, and DevSecOps processes.
• We need strong programming ability in Golang or Python, supported by sound software development practices.
• We expect proficiency with cloud infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform, KRO, or Crossplane.
• We look for experience using logging and monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Grafana, Datadog, and Prometheus.
• We require deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure design, architecture, and migration approaches.
• We expect demonstrated experience with AI-assisted coding workflows, including LLM-powered developer tools, spec-driven development methods, and prompt engineering for software engineering use cases.
• Preferred: a masters degree in a related field and certifications in cloud, Kubernetes, or infrastructure-as-code technologies.
• Preferred: experience implementing multi-cloud architectures and leading end-to-end platform development efforts.
• Preferred: background in designing and building scalable AI/ML or data platforms.
• Preferred: experience with automation and workflow orchestration for operational efficiency.
• Preferred: published contributions to open-source or industry-recognized projects.
• Preferred: hands-on experience building AI agents and MCP servers or integrations at scale using frameworks such as Google ADK, Anthropic SDKs, and standard agent orchestration tooling.

• We align platform strategy and roadmaps with business priorities and lead cross-functional efforts to modernize SDLC practices.
• We evaluate, integrate, and govern strategic tooling to reduce cognitive overhead and improve developer experience.
• We partner with development teams to identify and remove platform bottlenecks.
• We define and promote paved paths and self-service workflows to simplify developer operations.
• We implement real-time telemetry pipelines and workflows for large-scale platform observability and analytics.
• We encourage adoption of productivity-enhancing tools through documentation, training, office hours, and active engagement with the developer community.
• We standardize the use of AI-assisted coding tools and AI-powered development ecosystems to accelerate workflows, code generation, and engineering productivity across the organization.
• We contribute to the design and development of AI agents and Model Context Protocol integrations using frameworks built on Google ADK, Anthropic SDKs, and related tooling to enable intelligent, scalable platform automation.
