This role plays a key part in the month-end close process, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.****ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:***** Assist with completion of the month-end close processes including consolidation and maintenance of closing files, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support schedules* Execute intercompany billing processes and ensure timely and accurate transactions* Perform intercompany AP/AR balance reconciliations to support financial reporting accuracy* Monitor SAP for intercompany processing errors and coordinate resolution efforts* Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger* Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts* Review credit card transactions for proper account coding and compliance with internal control policies* Analyze financial data and investigate variances* Support financial statement preparation and reporting* Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (AP, AR, FP&A, IT)* Assist with audits by providing required documentation and support* Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation* Prepare ad hoc reports and financial analyses as needed* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager****REQUIREMENTS:***** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field* 1–3+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate)* Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)* Experience with reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine) preferred* CPA or CPA candidate is a plus* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills* Attention to detail, organized and thorough with desire for continuous improvement* Exhibits high level of curiosity to develop understanding of the business****WORK ENVIORNMENT:***** Typically operates in a professional office or hybrid environment* May require extended hours during close cycles or audits**What We Offer*** A commitment that Safety is #1* Competitive benefits, pay, and retirement plan options!* Career growth, stability, and flexible work arrangements.**Responsible Manufacturing – Protecting Our Planet for the Future*** We utilize renewable energy and a closed loop recycled water process.* We are committed to reducing greenhouse emissions and water consumption.* We are the only flooring company recognized by the Asthma and Allergy foundation.**Who we are:**With a history of more than 140 years, Tarkett is a worldwide leader in innovative and sustainable flooring and sport surface solutions, generating turnover of €3.3 billion in 2025.
