Energy Efficiency Projects Lead Location: 80 Park Plaza, Newark, NJ 07102 (Hybrid – 3 days in office per week, subject to change) Stefanini Group seeks an experienced professional to lead commercial and industrial energy‑efficiency projects. The role includes program oversight, process development, vendor management, data analysis, and customer service. Responsibilities Provide program management oversight over scope, schedule, and budget of energy‑efficiency projects in compliance with BPU Order and CLIENT procedures. Develop and maintain processes for implementing energy‑efficiency programs in accordance with Energy Solutions requirements. Interface with CLIENT associates, vendors, customers, and outside consultants to ensure program rules are maintained and projects are cost‑effective. Perform and oversee program and project QA/QC, applying knowledge of energy savings measures and incentive structures. Manage customer relationships to deliver high‑level program services with a strong focus on satisfaction. Coordinate and direct vendor and contractor activities, review deliverables, monitor performance, and process invoices. Ensure vendor and employee compliance with safety protocols and practices. Compile and analyze data from projects to monitor status and report to management, including installation of HVAC, lighting, motors, EMS, etc. Analyze performance results for management reports and provide monthly project status forecasts. Assist with special projects and ad‑hoc requests as needed. Qualifications B.S. degree plus 5 years of experience in energy‑efficiency programs, construction, or a related field (or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree). Experience processing milestone‑based construction payments and forecasting financial spend. Knowledge of energy‑efficiency measures, implementation, and cost. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Commitment to process improvement and attention to detail. Ability to travel within CLIENT territory for customer meetings and inspections. Valid U.S. driver’s license. Preferred Vendor management and invoicing experience.
