Frontline General Engineering Construction is looking for an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead crews performing sidewalk, curb & gutter, driveway, ADA, grading, and public works concrete operations.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of production in the field and keep work moving from demolition through final concrete placement and cleanup.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily field crews
- Sidewalk and concrete demolition
- Fine grading and subgrade preparation
- Base rock placement and compaction
- Forming sidewalks, curb & gutter, driveways, and ADA improvements
- Coordinate concrete pours and finishing
- Manage equipment, materials, trucking, and manpower
- Read plans, details, and grades
- Coordinate with inspectors and project management
- Maintain safe and clean work areas
- Complete multiple work locations efficiently
- Provide daily production updates and communicate issues before they impact the schedule
- Ensure locations are fully completed and closed out before moving on
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of concrete/public works construction experience preferred
- Previous foreman or crew-lead experience
- Strong experience with sidewalk, curb & gutter, driveways, and concrete restoration
- Experience with demolition, grading, compaction, forming, and concrete placement
- Able to read construction plans and elevations
- Experience working in City right-of-way environments preferred
- Strong understanding of production, sequencing, and manpower planning
- Ability to manage multiple locations and keep crews productive
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Safety-focused and dependable
