Journeyman Millwrights
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Millwrights for projects located in the Tacoma, WA area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $26-40/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Millwright looking to learn and grow in your trade alongside accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to further your career!
Job Scope:
- Repair, diagnose, and troubleshoot machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Disassemble and reassemble machinery, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pulleys, and other mechanical systems
- Perform installations and modifications of industrial equipment as needed
- Work with precision tools and follow safety protocols to complete tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Millwright, Mechanic, or in a similar industrial role
- Comfortable working with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pulleys, and related mechanical systems
- Experience using precision tools for measurement and repairs
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
