? Position Overview

Seeking a compassionate and experienced Acute Care Registered Nurse to provide safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. The RN will use the nursing process to assess patients, develop care plans, administer treatments, monitor changes in condition, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

? Requirements

• 3 year of recent RN experience
• Active South Dakota RN license
• Acute Care or hospital nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills

? Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and respiratory treatments as ordered
• Monitor patients and recognize changes in condition
• Respond promptly to clinical changes and communicate with providers
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and discharge care
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Delegate appropriate tasks to supervised staff
• Provide guidance and support to assigned team members
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
