Job Description

To operate industrial material handling equipment in the performance of product transport assignments. Follows computerized instructions and utilizes bar code scanners to identify product and confirm completion of assignments. Operates high-bay equipment - Must be able to operate cherry picker.

Responsibilities:

• Handles and stacks up to 55 lb. cases of product onto a pallet, and transfers like cases onto inventory racks
• General housekeeping (Utility), functions include scanning, sorting, and loading merchandise.
• Using RF terminal, reports inconsistencies or errors to the Warehouse Management System. Understands and uses proper screens to resolve problems.
• Other functions may include packing bags in corrugated boxes and palletizing.
• Meet and exceed all safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Job functions are subject to change from day to day depending on customer requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must have 6 months of experience operating a cherry picker forklift
• Must be able to operate equipment at heights up to 35-40 ft.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work the entire shift from start to finish.
• Non-slip shoes are required.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we want to share the base salary range for this position is S18.00, not including benefits, potential bonuses or additional compensation once hired as permanent employee at our client. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
