Salary Range: $58,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily machining operations and workflow.
• Mentor and train junior machinists on complex procedures and safety.
• Program, set up, and operate advanced CNC machinery for precision parts.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform routine maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Manage material inventory and ensure timely procurement for projects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in setting up, operating, and programming CNC mills and lathes.
• Demonstrated expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
• Strong understanding of various metals, cutting tools, and machining processes.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot machining issues and perform quality control inspections.
• Experience in leading or mentoring junior machinists.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming and simulation
• Certification or advanced training in CNC machining or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machining issues
• Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
