Location: Olympia, WA (Hybrid: 3 Days On-Site / 2 Days Remote)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $120,000 – $135,000 Base Salary + Up to $20,000 Sign-On Bonus + Multi-Year Growth Incentives

About the Opportunity

Are you an experienced financial professional looking to move beyond back-office planning or product-driven sales quotas and step into an established advisory role with a clear path to client ownership?

An established, highly respected Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) in Olympia, WA is seeking a Financial Advisor to join their collaborative, relationship-driven team. This unique role is structured to work directly alongside the firm’s Executive Director of Wealth Management, learning their clients, planning philosophy, and service model over a 6–12 month onboarding period—with a direct path to developing into a lead Wealth Manager taking over a significant portion of established client relationships.

No cold prospecting or self-funded client books required. You’ll focus on what you do best: building trusted client relationships, delivering comprehensive financial planning, and driving organic growth through referrals.

What You’ll Do

• Build long-term, trusted relationships with existing client households and prospective clients.
• Lead client review meetings, conduct comprehensive financial reviews, and handle retirement, cash-flow, and wealth planning needs.
• Utilize top-tier financial planning platforms (e.g., MoneyGuidePro, Advyzon) to build customized client strategies.
• Partner with firm leadership during major client life events, transitions, and multi-generational wealth transfers.
• Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and cultivate organic growth through referrals over time (targeting a long-term, aspirational benchmark of 8M–12M in annual new AUM as you settle into the practice).

What We Are Looking For

• Licensing: Active Series 65 or Series 66 registration required.
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on financial advising, wealth management, or financial planning experience (open to high-potential junior-level advisors ready for the next step).
• Client-Facing Polish: Proven track record of participating in or leading client meetings and managing advisory relationships.
• Mindset: Proactive, highly coachable, relationship-focused, and eager to grow into a lead advisor seat.
• Location: Must be based locally or willing to commute to Olympia, WA for the on-site days (3 days in-office / 2 days WFH).

Nice-to-Haves: CFP® designation, Series 7, experience with MoneyGuidePro or Advyzon, or established roots in the Olympia/South Sound area.
