Cabinet Shop Manager

Job Title: Custom Cabinet Shop Manager Location: Jackson, TN Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Custom Cabinet Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of our cabinet shop, manage production workflow, and ensure high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with custom cabinetry as well as stock cabinet lines, and the ability to lead a team while balancing production schedules, quality control, and profitability. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations of the cabinet shop, including production scheduling and workflow Oversee custom cabinetry projects from design review through fabrication and installation Manage ordering, handling, and integration of stock cabinet lines alongside custom work Lead, train, and supervise shop staff, installers, and subcontractors as needed Ensure quality control standards are met for both custom and stock cabinetry Coordinate with designers, sales staff, and clients to meet project specifications and deadlines Monitor materials, inventory, and equipment maintenance Enforce shop safety standards and best practices Assist with estimating, job costing, and process improvements to improve efficiency and profitability Qualifications 5+ years of experience in cabinetry or woodworking, including custom cabinetry Proven experience working with stock cabinet lines (ordering, modifications, installation coordination) Prior management or supervisory experience in a cabinet shop or similar environment Strong understanding of cabinet construction methods, materials, and finishes Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and specifications Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and quality Preferred Skills Experience with CNC equipment and/or cabinet design software Knowledge of installation practices and field coordination Familiarity with job costing and production efficiency metrics Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience [Benefits such as health insurance, PTO, retirement, etc.] Opportunity to work with a growing company focused on quality craftsmanship #J-18808-Ljbffr
