Registered Nurse - Nursery

Responsibilities Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. The RN must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response, provide a safe environment for patients and visitors, and utilize the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well‑being and appropriate care of neonates from post‑delivery stabilization through discharge. NICU: provides direct patient care within the scope of practice with assistance to neonates. Overview Department: Nursery Shift: Part Time Nights; 7 p – 7:30 a Facility: Olympia Fields Hospital Location: Olympia Fields, IL Qualifications Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintained. NRP (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintained. One year experience in an acute care setting with experience in nursery or NICU environment. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.35 to $53.58. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, based on skill set, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
