Director of Human Resources – Nightingale at Stonegate (Skilled Nursing Facility)

What You'll Do

As the Director of Human Resources, you will oversee all HR operations for the facility, ensuring compliance, supporting staff, and partnering closely with leadership to maintain a positive, engaged workplace culture. Key responsibilities include:

• Lead full-cycle HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and retention
• Serve as a trusted resource for staff and department leaders
• Manage HR compliance, personnel files, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Support corrective action processes, coaching, and conflict resolution
• Coordinate orientation, training, and ongoing workforce development
• Partner with leadership on staffing strategies and culture initiatives
• Oversee benefits administration, payroll coordination, and HR reporting
• Maintain a professional, supportive, and confidential HR environment
• Promote employee engagement, recognition, and communication across the facility

What We're Looking For

• HR experience required (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
• Healthcare HR experience strongly preferred (skilled nursing, assisted living, or hospital)
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, and employee relations
• Excellent communication, professionalism, and follow-through
• Ability to build trust and support staff at all levels
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities
