Compliance Coordinator-Water and Wastewater Systems
The Compliance Coordinator serves as the general point of contact for processing, compliance documentation, and tracking for water and wastewater systems. Working with the Operators, Project Managers, and other Lead Technicians. Also serves as an environmental liaison between USWSC, clients and environmental consultants and contractors.
Position:
- Compliance Coordinator
- Monday through Friday – 8:00am to 5:00pm
- This is not a remote position
Essential Functions:
- Maintains spreadsheets, updates databases and master tracker for environmental documents.
- Assists with environmental report preparation, permits, and regulatory submittals.
- Reviews data provided by the Operators
- Coordinates with consultants and contractors to ensure timelines are met.
- Receives all final environmental documents and maintains digital and hard copy filing systems.
- Provides technical support to the Environmental Compliance Manager and Specialist.
- Processes information requests from customers.
- Reviews analyses as it arrives for exceedance advisories.
- Works closely with Operators.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite
Education and Experience:
- Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience providing technical support in a regulatory work environment. Licensed operator preferred but not required
