Neurosurgery/Neuroscience Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a healthcare organization located in Birmingham, Alabama. The position involves working on a 4 Neuro floor specializing in post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients. Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care (NIHSS), 2 years of clinical experience, located within the state of Alabama or willing to relocate
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neurosurgery/neuroscience, strong patient care skills, positive attitude, good work ethic
• Unit Information: 18 beds, patient ratio of 1:6, equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) system: EPIC
• Responsibilities: Providing care for post-neurosurgery and neuroscience patients, adhering to facility policies, and collaborating with healthcare team members
• Additional Information: Position is part of a contract replacement for staffing needs, requiring flexibility with float rotation as needed. Candidates should demonstrate clinical competence and excellent communication skills.
