Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour 21+ Years of AgeActive Armed Guard Card/LicenseValid Driver's License - AU Driver Policy Requirements3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience Job Schedule: DayTimeWed05:30 PM - 11:30 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to retail clients, customers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures. Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly while following Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
