Job Title: Sales Engineer
Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 Annually (plus commission)
Benefits Offered: 401k, Dental, Life, Medical
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday

We are looking for an Inside Sales Engineer with a technical background in engineering or sales, with at least 1-year experience with at least one year of sales experience--to make a positive connection with our customers. Someone outgoing, likable, comfortable on the phone, and most importantly, a solution provider!

Sales Engineers are typically responsible for:

• Answering customer calls and offering assistance.
• Recommending products or merchandise to help customers.
• Informing customers about sales, promotions, and policies.
• Following up on trade show leads for the Sales team.
• Maintains and updates records in our CRM database (ACT).
• Provides pricing and lead time for equipment and consumables.
• Establishing and maintaining customer relationships.

Requirements:

• Extremely comfortable on the phone with customers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer data entry skills.
• Excellent Customer service and people skills.
• Critical thinking.
• Selling skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in Windows-based programs.
• Comfortable cold calling (if needed).
• Ability to "think outside the box" to develop customer service requirements and implement total solutions.
• Knowledge in Quickbooks is a plus!

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree.
• Technical degree in engineering preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in sales.
• On-the-job training provided.

• Technical Sales: 1 year (Required).
• QuickBooks: 1 year (Preferred).
• Engineering: 1 year (Preferred).

License/Certification:

• Driver's license (Required).
