Food Runner/BusserThe Food Runner/Busser plays an essential role in delivering the warm, refined dining experience LaBelle Winery is known for. This team member supports front-of-house service by ensuring timely food delivery, maintaining table cleanliness, and assisting the service team throughout every stage of the guest experience. This position is well-suited to individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take pride in the details that elevate a meal from good to exceptional.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver food and beverages from the kitchen/bar to guest tables accurately and promptly, following seat-number and course-order protocolsCommunicate ticket timing and dish readiness between kitchen staff and serversConfirm order accuracy before delivering to guests; alert servers immediately to any discrepanciesAssist servers with tray carrying, plating presentation, and synchronized course delivery for large tables and eventsRefill water and other table accompaniments proactively throughout serviceTable Maintenance & Dining Room UpkeepClear and reset tables efficiently between courses and seatings in accordance with LaBelle service standardsRemove used dishware, glassware, and linens with minimal disruption to nearby guestsMaintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, side stations, and service corridors throughout the shiftEnsure tables are fully reset and dining room is guest-ready before and after each service periodStock and organize server stations with necessary supplies (napkins, silverware, glassware, etc)Guest ExperienceGreet guests warmly when appropriate; respond to basic requests and direct more complex needs to a server or managerAnticipate guest needs and create a seamless, attentive dining experience consistent with LaBelle's hospitality standardsCommunicate any guest feedback or concerns to the service team promptlyAssist with special event setups and breakdowns as directed by managementTeam CollaborationOperate as a collaborative member of the front-of-house team; support servers, bartenders, and event staff as neededParticipate in pre-shift meetings and stay informed on daily specials, events, and service notesFollow all food safety, health, and sanitation standards as required by NH Department of Health and LaBelle policyAdhere to uniform and appearance standards at all timesQualificationsRequiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detailStrong communication skills and team-first mindsetAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. for extended periodsFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredPreferredPrior experience in a restaurant, winery, event venue, or hospitality settingFamiliarity with food service protocols and dining room operationsBasic knowledge of wine or hospitality (training provided)Experience with Toast POS, OpenTable or similar point-of-sale systemsSalary: $12.00/hourly. Part time. Days, Evenings, Weekend and HolidaysWork Environment & Physical DemandsThis role operates in a dynamic indoor dining and event environment. The Food Runner/Busser will regularly carry trays and service items, navigate busy dining areas, and work across multiple dining spaces or event venues as needed.
