Job Description Experience Director Salary $185,000 - $240,000 per year Job Details --------- Responsibilities Financial Close & Operations: Direct monthly and quarterly close cycles, variance reporting, financial statement preparation, and core accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll, and treasury). Revenue Accounting: Oversee complex ASC 606 revenue policies for SaaS subscriptions and usage-based contracts. Technical Accounting: Craft technical memos and establish positions across equity, software capitalization, leases, and complex enterprise deals. Systems & Infrastructure: Lead the implementation of an AI-native ERP system and handle cloud/compute expenditure accounting. Compliance & Audit: Manage corporate tax filings, state registrations, and R&D credits, while preparing the organization for its inaugural external audit. Qualifications 7+ years of progressive accounting leadership (Controller, Assistant Controller, or Sr. Accounting Manager) in high-growth tech. Active CPA required, with foundational Big Four audit experience. Deep mastery of ASC 606 revenue recognition for subscription and consumption-based business models. Proven track record leading ERP implementations, owning the close, and managing external audits. Tech-forward professional actively using AI and modern automation tools to optimize workflows.
