Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at government locations. Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of assigned facilities, parking areas, public access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious behavior, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and communications. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
