Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and detailed medical history analyses.
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging results and lab findings.
• Work in close partnership with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for patients.
• Provide intraoperative assistance, ensuring operating room preparation, patient positioning, and delivering surgical instruments as required during operations.
• Offer outstanding pre and post-operative care, including administering medications, caring for wounds, managing discharge planning, and educating patients about their health.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Completion of clinical rotations focused on surgical practices is strongly preferred.

Certification Requirements

• Current, unrestricted PA-C certification is a must.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
