Diagnostic Imaging Assistant Senior- Front Desk Admin - Mammography Dept.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Location: Northbrook

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Hours: Day shift: Day shift 7-3:30, rotating weekends

Required Travel: Yes- local

What you will need:

Education: High School degree or equivalent

Certification: CPR certification required.

Experience: 1-2 years of prior secretarial supervisory experience and medical terminology preferred.

Skills: Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required; typing 25-35 wpm.

What you will do:

• Greet all patients coming into the Mammography department and assist with patient issues
• Schedule, check in, register, and verify information for patients
• Input patient information into the EPIC system with high accuracy
• Responsible for other related duties as requested, with an emphasis on proper documentation and courteous patient contact
• Contacts doctors' offices and patients as needed to obtain order
• Regular communication with technical staff
• Assisting with secretarial duties as needed.
