Role Overview

\n

\n

To support the continued growth of our Infrastructure Secondaries team, we are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join the practice. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to landmark secondary transactions for leading private capital firms and global institutions at an important stage in the firm’s evolution. The successful candidate will support the deal lead in executing GP-led secondary transactions as second-in-command, oversee and develop junior colleagues, and contribute to the Firm’s origination efforts and broader initiatives.

Responsibilities

\n

\n

Transaction Execution and Client Delivery

\n

\n
• Support the deal lead in coordinating GP-led secondary transactions and liaising with clients, advisors, lawyers and counterparties throughout the process
\n
• Manage data rooms, NDA negotiations, client communications and buyside queries with minimal assistance from the deal lead
\n
• Lead or assist in drafting key marketing materials, including confidential information memoranda, teasers and bespoke analyses, identifying value drivers, investment considerations and potential diligence areas
\n

Financial Analysis and Materials

\n

\n
• Build and maintain bespoke transaction models with minimal assistance from the deal lead, incorporating asset- or portfolio-level assumptions, fund economics and secondaries transaction structures
\n
• Produce thoughtful analysis and concise, technically accurate presentations and written materials
\n
• Review Executives’ modelling and analytical work, helping to resolve issues and ensure quality
\n

\n

Investor Coverage and Business Development

\n

\n
• Develop knowledge of leading infrastructure-focused secondary investors, LPs and other institutional investors, including their preferences across sectors, geographies and transaction types
\n
• Participate in investor meetings and develop relationships within the global infrastructure investment community, including peer contacts at LPs and GPs
\n
• Monitor infrastructure market trends, sector developments, fundraising activity and transaction precedents, and contribute market insights, potential mandates and transaction ideas
\n
• Build knowledge of primary products, fundraising processes and GP assessment criteria, and discuss primary and secondary market trends with market participants
\n

Team Leadership and Firm Contribution

• Manage and review Executives’ work, delegate appropriately and ensure output provided to senior team members is accurate, timely and of high quality
\n
• Teach, coach and mentor junior colleagues, providing clear direction and constructive feedback
\n
• Build relationships across teams and offices and contribute to firm-building activities and broader Firm initiatives
\n

Candidate Profile

\n

\n

\n
• At least 3 years of investment banking, infrastructure investing, private equity, project finance or capital markets experience; secondaries experience is a plus
\n
• Demonstrated interest in infrastructure and real assets, including power and renewables, digital infrastructure, transportation, midstream and energy, social infrastructure or real estate; familiarity with infrastructure valuation methodologies and investment metrics is preferred
\n
• Understanding of M&A and/or GP-led process structures and dynamics
\n
• Ability to manage projects and external communications independently, prioritize multiple demands and perform in a fast-paced environment
\n
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, business writing and communication skills, with extremely high attention to detail and a strong propensity for relationship building
\n
• Ability to leverage AI tools effectively and responsibly

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $240,000. The successful candidate may be appointed at the Associate or Senior Associate level based on their experience, qualifications, and the requirements of the role. The actual base salary offered will be determined within the stated range based on factors including the successful candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and appointed level. This position may also be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation.
