Job Summary
We are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team.  The ideal candidate is experienced, detail oriented, and a strong leader. Pay rate depends on experience.  

Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and plate food according to kitchen specifications
• Manage kitchen flow, keeping service smooth, and taking charge when the head chef is away
• Preparing food and stepping into any kitchen station that needs help during a rush
• Coordinate food preparation and presentation
• Tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and helping manage food costs
• Enforcing food safety rules and checking that every dish matches the required standards for taste and presentation
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and product

Qualifications : 

• Extensive previous culinary experience
• ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent management and leadership skills
