Job Description & Requirements Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a high-acuity acute care hospital setting. The role involves caring for critically ill neonates in a Level III NICU, with a focus on managing complex patient needs and supporting families during challenging times. The position offers a dynamic work environment focused on advanced neonatal care. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, beginning 09/09/2026 and ending 12/09/2026. Required Qualifications: Two or more years of NICU experience, at least one year in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit specialty, current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, valid state license (compact license accepted). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-frequency ventilation, managing PICC lines, intubations, and complex neonatal procedures. Float: May float to nearby units (if applicable) to meet unit demands. Additional Information: The nurse will be responsible for the administration of blood & blood products, management of invasive lines, ventilator management, and providing family-centered care. The role requires proficiency in electronic charting within the Epic system and the ability to manage high-acuity neonatal patients, including those requiring advanced respiratory support and medication titration.
