Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a specialized Tax Accountant to join their finance team, operating entirely remotely and supporting their operations near Paarl, Western Cape . This role is critical for ensuring tax compliance across all jurisdictions, optimizing tax strategies, and managing tax-related financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax legislation and a proactive approach to managing tax liabilities. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit all corporate tax returns accurately and on time. Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise the business on potential impacts. Conduct tax research and provide recommendations for tax planning and optimization. Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities effectively. Ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE, and other relevant tax regulations. Assist with transfer pricing documentation and compliance requirements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation. Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA, H.Dip Tax) or equivalent. Minimum of 4 years of experience focused on corporate tax. Expert knowledge of South African tax laws and regulations. Proficiency in tax preparation software and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setup.
