Overview
Registered Nurse - Med Surg in McAlester, Oklahoma, United States. Start date 08/31/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,923 to $2,039 per week. Guaranteed hours are not guaranteed. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am). This assignment is in a Med/Surg unit with Meditech as the EMR system.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Med Surg patients per established standards and policies
- Assess, monitor, and document patient condition; administer medications and therapies; manage IVs and wound care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team; communicate changes in patient status; escalate as needed
- Document care in the Meditech EMR accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with discharge planning, patient and family education, and transition planning
- Float to rehabilitation as needed based on census and unit needs; ensure safe transfers and referrals

Requirements
- Ability to work the 7:00 pm–7:00 am night shift
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing or a comparable setting
- Willingness to float to rehab unit based on census
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital Med Surg environment in Oklahoma
