Estimator - Big Box Retail & Commercial

Estimator - Commercial / Big Box Retail Construction

Location: Boca Raton, FL or Tampa, FL
Compensation: $120,000 - $145,000 Base Salary

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join a well-established Florida General Contractor specializing in a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial, retail, and big box construction projects throughout the state.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate conceptual and detailed construction estimates
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Develop budgets, takeoffs, and bid proposals
• Collaborate with operations and project management teams during preconstruction

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience with a General Contractor
• Experience estimating big box retail and commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and pricing
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with estimating software and quantity takeoffs
