Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Day & Swing Shifts | Monday–Friday | MUST HAVE Open Availability and be able to work flexible hours | Multiple Locations | On Call basis and hours range from 20-40 hours a week.
Location: Hillsboro, OR
GLISS is hiring for a janitorial position in an educational setting in Hillsboro, OR. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team in a facility services role with competitive pay, flexible hours, and great benefits. We are looking for dependable and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment. Hours will vary each week depending on the client's needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Refill paper products and soap dispensers.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Assist with setup and cleanup for special events and activities.
- Follow all safety procedures and company protocols.
Qualifications:
- No experience required – training provided.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
- Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Schedule Details:
- Full-time, Part-time, or Temporary positions available.
- 8-hour shifts.
- Days and Location VARY
Shift options:
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
