Job Description We are looking for a Controller to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. This is a high-visibility opportunity for a strategic finance leader to shape financial policy, drive key business decisions, and take true ownership of the accounting function at a company on a strong growth trajectory. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that align with the company's overall strategy and goals.
- Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development of long-term financial projections and annual budgets.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to the executive team on key business decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor the company's financial performance and provide regular updates to the executive team.
- Manage the company's cash flow and ensure that adequate funds are available to meet operating needs.
- Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership role
- 8+ years of accounting experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
