Maintenance Mechanic

Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. Summary Repair conveyor systems and assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical components of warehouse equipment. Responsibilities Identify and troubleshoot conveyor system issues. Recognize potential malfunctions and take corrective action. Maintain complete repair order records. Assist with installation of new conveyor systems. Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to sounds to locate causes of trouble. Examine form and texture of parts to detect imperfections. Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements. Install special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricate and clean parts. Start devices to test performance. Initiate purchase orders for parts and machines. Position is full-time and on-site. Overtime and weekend work as required. Supervisory responsibilities: none. You must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Qualifications One year of related experience working on industry‑related conveyor systems. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
