As a Mazevo Assistant Manager, you will have the chance to represent our business by providing excellent customer service while offering our delicious products. Responsibilities :

You will be preparing coffee drinks and food for customers while creating a friendly and hospitable atmosphere

Greet all customers with a friendly smile; provide friendly, efficient, and personal service to each customer

Take food and drink orders; understand the food and beverage menu in order to provide the best possible description and execution of menu items to your guests

Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the coffee preparation process, including specialty drinks

Accurately and efficiently enter orders into POS system

Clear and reset counters and tables at the conclusion of each guest visit

Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures

Manage inventory levels for coffee beans, food products, syrups, milks, cups, lids, packaging, merchandise, cleaning supplies, and other materials.

Monitor usage and demand to determine when products need to be reordered and help prevent both shortages and excess inventory.

Place and coordinate orders with manager and suppliers.

Organize inventory storage areas so products are easy to locate and properly rotated.

Track product expiration and freshness, using FIFO (first-in, first-out) practices where appropriate.

Keep track of spending with the Inventory Budget sheet and communicate all orders with manager

Forecast inventory needs based on sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and growth.

Work with suppliers to address late deliveries, shortages, damaged products, or quality concerns.

Train or oversee employees who participate in counting, receiving, stocking, and inventory procedures.

Maintain food-safety and storage standards, particularly for food, dairy, and other perishable products.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to count, record, and reconcile inventory

Strong communication skills

Reliability, accountability, and a high level of attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize competing needs.

Ability to work independently while coordinating with manager and team.

Recognize how to deliver excellent customer service

Able to maintain composure in a hectic, high-energy work environment

Possess outstanding communication abilities

No prior experience necessary

Maintain constant and regular attendance and punctuality, whether or not a suitable accommodation is provided.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, early mornings, late nights, and/or holidays

Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation

Engage with and comprehend our customers, including learning about their demands and meeting them through amiable and transparent communication

Rapid learning ability

Being able to follow oral and written directions, comprehend them, and ask for clarification when necessary

The capacity to cooperate in a group and form relationships

Pay is between $15 and $23 per hour when factoring in your tips.

Base wage is between $13.50 and $15.00 per hour depending on experience.
