About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to lead its fundraising efforts and strategic vision for the advancement program. The successful candidate will be a mission-aligned professional with a proven track record in educational fundraising, including experience in managing capital campaigns and working with major donors. The CAO will be responsible for providing clear and creative vision, inspirational leadership, and strategic direction for all aspects of the advancement office. This includes overseeing a comprehensive fundraising program, cultivating relationships with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the school's mission and values are at the heart of all advancement activities. The role also involves serving as a key member of the senior administrative team, contributing to the school's overall strategic planning, and fostering a culture of philanthropy within the community. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' experience in educational fundraising, with a strong background in all aspects of development work. The role requires superlative written and speaking skills, the ability to inspire others, and a deep appreciation for the company's mission and values. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to balance multiple priorities, work effectively with diverse constituent groups, and lead a high-functioning team.
