Clinical Development Medical Director, Inflammation & Immunology

Pfizer seeks a Clinical Development Medical Director to lead medical and scientific oversight of one or more inflammation and immunology clinical trials. The role ensures protocol quality, clinical execution, patient safety, and regulatory compliance while partnering with clinical operations and external investigators.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical execution and medical oversight of medium to high complexity studies with significant business impact
- Develop protocols, Informed Consent Documents, and clinical trial designs ensuring quality and operational efficiency
- Establish and manage Data Monitoring and endpoint adjudication committees; review and report safety data and protocol deviations
- Serve as primary medical contact with external investigators and internal study teams on clinical and protocol matters
- Review patient-level data, manage emerging clinical issues, and contribute to Clinical Study Reports and regulatory submissions
Requirements
- MD or equivalent medical degree
- 5+ years biopharmaceutical clinical research and development experience
- Postgraduate training or fellowship in Dermatology, Rheumatology, or Pulmonology (preferred)
- Knowledge of clinical development, global regulation, ICH/GCP, and adverse event management
- Experience with AI-enabled tools, automation, or digital clinical trial technologies (preferred)
- Demonstrated scientific productivity through publications or research reports (preferred)
