Il Nonno is new popular Italian restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for an enthusiastic Server/Bartender to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer guests' questions about our offerings.
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set up.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Process payments and provide accurate change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Bartender Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails according to standard recipes.
- Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Engage with guests, take drink orders, and ensure they have a positive experience.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of bar supplies.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine and wine is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for bartending positions).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
