You have deep knowledge of an enterprise IT environment, and you are excited to put that translate that knowledge to ensure excellence in all forms. In this role, you will update documentation as new features are launched and enabled or when operational procedures change. More than that, this role is about providing effective communication and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.What you'll do:Plan, develop, draft, and edit technical documents in electronic and hard-copy form that depict the architectural and operational posture of complex IT systems using existing content standards that conform to Frost's quality standardsCraft documentation that includes but is not limited to network/infrastructure architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and operational readiness documents using a detailed knowledge of the relevant systems and their integrationsMaintain and update documentation as new features are enabled, when additional integrations are established, and when operational procedures changeCollaborate with departments across IT and across the bank to develop an in-depth understanding of IT systems as a base for producing required documentationParticipate in disaster recovery assessments to review and update IT systems recovery procedure documents as requiredAlways take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomesWhat you'll need:3+ years of experience in technical writing in an enterprise IT environmentTechnical understanding of enterprise software, server platforms, network infrastructure, and software-as-a-service (SaaS)Demonstrated experience in applying subject-matter and organizational expertise in an IT enterprise to produce technical documentationDemonstrated ability to understand and discuss IT technical concepts, including but not limited to server and desktop operating systems, virtualization platforms, firewalls, and DMZ'sProficient in VisioExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft computer applicationsAdditional Preferred Skills:Basic understanding and experience with Agile SCRUM methodologiesExperience in and understanding of the financing, lending, and banking industryOur Benefits:At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
