Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job description:

SandBay Primary + Urgent Care is looking for a team-oriented, patient-focused healthcare Certified Medical Assistant to join our growing organization. You will work under the direction of your practice physician and office managers. The position responsibility includes but is not limited to the following.

Medical Assistant

• Perform blood work, injections, and various laboratory tests
• Prepare and escorts patients to and from exam rooms
• Chart preparation, confirm appointments, lock note, and lab reconciliation

Administrative

• Prepare and stock exam rooms and order supplies to ensure efficient operation.
• Call, fax, or E-prescribe RX refills and new prescriptions
• Ensure the facilities’ cleanliness and safety
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year + of working experience required
• Knowledge of EclinicalWorks is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace is a plus
• Superb verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
• Patient Service focus
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.'

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
