Billing Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join a fast-paced professional services environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on accuracy, organization, and collaboration while managing high-volume billing responsibilities. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and process client invoices with a high level of accuracy and efficiency Update and refine billing narratives to ensure professional grammar, clarity, and formatting Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and billing questions Partner with attorneys, legal support staff, clients, and internal departments regarding billing-related matters Maintain organized records and manage multiple deadlines in a deadline-driven environment Generate reports, perform data entry, and work within billing/accounting platforms daily Assist with special projects and additional accounting support tasks as needed Qualifications & Technical Skills Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills Ability to prioritize competing tasks and work effectively under deadlines Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Familiarity with Aderant or comparable legal billing software preferred Knowledge of accounting functions such as billing, accounts receivable/payable, and reporting systems is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
