Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasonal Data Entry Clerk to support shop floor operations in a turbine maintenance environment. This position works alongside turbine mechanics, collecting, tracking, and documenting operational and maintenance data using both paper records and computer-based systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and accurately record shop floor data from turbine maintenance and repair activities.
- Enter and maintain records using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Transfer information from paper documents to electronic databases and spreadsheets.
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with mechanics, supervisors, and other team members regarding documentation requirements.
- Maintain organized records and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous data entry experience required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a shop floor/manufacturing environment alongside mechanical personnel.
