About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Malone Healthcare to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Englewood, Colorado, 80110!

• Provide ICU-level nursing assessment and care for a patient population that includes burn patients across med/surg, intermediate care, and ICU acuity levels
• Manage ventilator care, fluid resuscitation, and wound care for critically ill patients
• Deliver pain management and post-operative care for immediate post-op patients
• Monitor patients using GE monitors and administer IV therapy via Plum IV Pumps
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Support resuscitation and ongoing care of critical burn patients through acute and recovery phases

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU RN experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

• Prior experience caring for burn patients in an ICU or intermediate care setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience with GE monitoring systems and Plum IV Pumps
• Strong team orientation and effective communication skills

• Work alongside an experienced, tenured nursing staff in a specialized burn and critical care unit with an intimate 8-bed environment and supportive team structure
• Gain specialized experience in the resuscitation and recovery care of critical burn patients in a well-equipped acute care setting
