You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing brakes, suspension components, sensors, etc. Certified Service Technicians will also be required to perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks and must have experience doing alignments. You must be able to greet customers in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner while ensuring that each customer is educated on the products and services that we offer. One of the most important responsibilities of the Automotive Mechanic position in achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standard of quality. The pay range for this position is $21.25-$35.25 per hour, plus commission, depending on experience.Requirements:Must be 18 years of ageA valid driver's license is preferredASE certification recommendedNYS Inspector License is required (NEW YORK STATE ONLY)Good mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairsAlignment experience is preferredExcellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer serviceA detail-oriented mindsetMust be a team playerWillingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environmentsAbility to work with a sense of urgencyAbility to stand, walk and bend for long periods of timeAbility to lift moderate amounts of weightWillingness to work a flexible scheduleEffective June 1, 2024, seasonal employment opportunities due to attending school are no longer available.
