The B2B Collections Specialist will manage a high-volume, low-dollar portfolio, focusing primarily on collections rather than credit analysis. This role requires someone confident on the phone and comfortable working directly with customers and internal partners to resolve outstanding balances. The Collections Specialist will play a key role in maintaining healthy accounts receivable and supporting the broader finance and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Interact directly with customers and internal partners to ensure the collection of outstanding balances.
• Review and release orders placed on credit hold.
• Work with customers to resolve disputed invoices and short payments.
• Fulfill customer documentation requests related to invoices and payments.
• Collaborate with business teams to address customer delinquency issues.
• Manage a portfolio previously handled by a third-party collections agency.
• Handle high-volume collections activity, primarily via email (approx. 75%), with phone outreach as needed.
• Occasionally negotiate payment plans with customers.
• Utilize GetPaid software (preferred) for collections tracking and reporting.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of B2B collections experience.
• Strong communication skills — confident and comfortable conducting outreach via phone and email.
• Ability to manage deductions and short pays.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in Anoka, MN.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a high-volume collections environment.
• Familiarity with collections software, particularly GetPaid.
• Prior experience negotiating payment plans and resolving disputed invoices.
