Splunk Support Engineer

Overall experience of 10-12 years in installing and configuring Splunk forwarder on Linux, Windows servers

Handling forwarders, forwarding different types of log files

Configuring Indexers, Search Heads, Deployment/Management Servers, Deployment Clients

Handling Indexer Clustering along with Search Head Clustering architecture

License management (Master License, Pooling, Usage Report)

Migrating entire Splunk environment during Datacentre Migration

Creating and binding fields with Splunk Metadata using Regular Expressions

Troubleshooting Splunk Admin tasks

Forwarding data from different applications using Universal Forwarders, Event Collector etc

Managing user settings, roles, and access management

Building Splunk dashboards using XML

Creating scheduled alerts for real-time monitoring

Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for business requirements

Working on knowledge objects such as Event Types, Tags, Field extractions, Lookups

Installing, configuring, and using apps such as SplunkDBConnect, WMI

Working on Cloud Environment
