Integration Architect

Job Title

Skills Set:

• Technical exposure on Middleware, Messaging, API and REST Based services.
• Previous experience in the role of a Solutions Technical Lead with demonstrated experience in applying architecture blueprints and aligning projects to enterprise standards.
• Application development experience with REST API/microservices/Java frameworks.
• Extensive experience designing complex integrations with a focus on performance engineering and loose coupling utilizing APIs and Services.
• Experience with RSAD (IBM® Rational® Software Architect Designer) or any architecture design tools.
• APIC (IBM API Connect) or any API Management Platform
• Experience using IBM Middleware technologies.
• Knowledge on cloud platforms like Azure, GCP and AWS.
• Event Streaming like Kafka.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Enterprise Architects to provide technical leadership in developing strategy and architectural design for assigned integration domains and guidance on API strategy.
• Provide expertise to identify and translate functional and non-functional requirements into software design documentation.
• Drive the Integration Architecture principles to ensure application/enterprise leverage the integration opportunities between various line of business.
• Adhere to enterprise architecture strategies, principals, standards, policies and procedures.
• Create API Naming requests for API naming and work with Integration Domain Lead to design the Domain Information Model (DIM)
• Design & maintain enterprise-wide and domain blueprints and models in RSAD
• Design Mapping specs, Swaggers, Orchestration flows, Component Diagrams.
• Create Products for consumers, APIs and set the rate limit in APIs.
• Review the solution with Integration Governance committee to ensure architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible, and cost effective
• Provide architectural support to the development team and review the solution in implemented as designed.
