Our assistant manager will report to the general manager and will ensure that all guests and employees have a great experience. They direct, coordinate, implement and manage the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve identified objectives/sales goals, cost controls, employee hiring/training/retention, guest service/satisfaction, product quality and cleanliness/sanitation. Position is responsible for ensuring adherence and compliance for all standards of operating a Chicken Salad Chick location. We also offer many other great benefits such as: Flexible schedule Employee Discount Paid training Job promotion Paid vacation 401(k) As an Assistant Manager you will: Be a key support person for the GM as a Brand Ambassador for Chicken Salad Chick Understand and adhere to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service Ensure that all products are consistently prepared and served according to CSC standards Achieve identified objectives for sales, service, quality, the appearance of the facility and sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees. Create a positive, productive working environment. Operationally fill in as needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations Coach and motivate the team Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs Ensure that all products are received in the correct unit count and conditions and deliveries are performed following the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures Control food and equipment inventories, perform weekly inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records Schedule labor for anticipated business activity to provide optimal guest service, product quality and operating standards Always adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and personal grooming. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility, including bending and stooping for the duration of the workday. Must be able to work and perform all duties at any station in the kitchen and service area Chicken Salad Chick provides a delicious menu with a variety of 12 chicken salads, homemade sides, delicious soups and great sandwiches.
