Job Title Assistant Manager – Retail Store Overview The Assistant Manager is a multi‑faceted role that merges business strategy, operations, creativity, and people management. Assistant Managers drive sales results, oversee daily store operations, provide best‑in‑class customer service, manage staffing, training, visual merchandising, and serve as talent leaders. Responsibilities Perform opening and closing routines. Supervise sales floor and stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service and seamless operations. Conduct staffing, scheduling and payroll operations. Train and develop non‑management staff. Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, driving sales. Build and maintain visual displays. Analyze reporting to inform decision‑making. Protect store assets and perform inventory control. Operate register/point‑of‑sale systems. Fulfill omni‑channel orders. Represent the brand and exemplify company culture and values. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree OR one year of supervisory experience in a customer‑facing role. Strong customer focus and knowledge of current fashion trends. Drive to achieve results and exhibit a strong work ethic. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Team‑building and ability to coach others. Take initiative and demonstrate confidence. Balance multiple tasks while being detail‑oriented. Engage in applied learning and proactive thinking.
