Quick Facts Location: 500 Campus Drive, Hancock, MI 49930 Start Date: 07/18/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing / as mutually agreed Shift: 12-hour shifts, 8am – 8pm (September 9-11 for initial coverage) Hours/Week: Full-time, 36 patients per shift Employment Type: Locum / Contract Licenses/Certs: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (required); Board Eligible accepted Experience: Prior ED experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour Pay Schedule: Weekly via Direct Deposit Benefits: Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick leave in accordance with state and federal laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success What You’ll Do Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a busy ED setting Collaborate with ED nurses and advanced practice providers to deliver seamless patient care Evaluate, diagnose, and stabilize approximately 36 patients daily Manage inpatient and outpatient cases using Meditech EMR system Maintain compliance with all licensing and credentialing requirements Support ongoing coverage needs and assist with on-site orientation when necessary What You Need Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (required) or Board Eligible with upcoming certification Minimum of 1 year recent ED experience preferred Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with support staff About the Assignment This assignment at a leading facility in Hancock, Michigan, focuses on providing quality emergency care with a top-tier team.
