Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst / Project Management Analyst (PMA) to provide day-to-day support to a Senior Project Manager responsible for a variety of electric utility distribution programs and projects . This position will support the Distribution Program Management Office (DPMO) and will combine project administration, data analysis, contract administration, and reporting responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of analytical skills, office/project administration experience, and project management support experience . The role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support to a Senior Project Manager overseeing electric utility distribution programs and projects.
Perform project analytical and administrative activities.
Manage and track large volumes of program-level data.
Support contract administration , including development of RFPs for distribution programs.
Assist with creating contract requisitions.
Support contract payment authorizations, invoice review and approval, accruals, and overall contract tracking.
Develop and maintain project/program information using Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and Power BI .
Coordinate and communicate with various internal and external stakeholders.
Help ensure project documentation, reporting, and administrative activities are completed accurately and on time.
Support multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume environment.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
1-5 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Microsoft Excel .
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas/equations, and other advanced functions .
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage high volumes of work, orders, data, and competing priorities.
Detail-oriented and dependable with the ability to meet deadlines.
Comfortable communicating and interacting with a variety of stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous project management or project coordination/support experience .
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI .
Experience with contract administration, RFPs, invoicing, accruals, or contract tracking.
Knowledge or experience within electric utilities, utility distribution, or utility construction is a plus.

Work Requirements

Candidates must be able to work onsite in the Newark, Delaware office Tuesday through Thursday , with Monday and Friday designated as remote days. Some travel, approximately 1-2 times per month , may be required for team meetings and site visits within the Exelon service territory.
