Registered Nurse – Wound Care

Schedule

Day shift, 5 days per week (08:00 - 16:30). Every other weekend expected unless specified.

Assignment Details

Minimum experience required: 1 year. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Compliance is needed for on-time start; if not compliant, there will be a 2-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Experience in wound care.
• Full compliance required to start on time.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop care plans for wound care patients.
• Implement interventions to promote healing and prevent complications.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families about wound care and prevention strategies.

Compliance / Notes

Once the candidate has signed and confirmation is sent, the manager has 48 hours to review the profile and determine fit. If one major holiday falls in the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays fall, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
