This position is ideal for machinists who thrive in a precision-driven environment and are experienced in producing complex, tight-tolerance parts using advanced multi-axis equipment.Schedule: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Training on 1st shift for up to one month required)What You'll Do:Operate 4- and 5-axis CNC Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs), including automated systemsInterpret detailed blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications for short-run and one-off jobsSet up machines, load materials, change tooling, and adjust offsets for optimal performancePerform in-process adjustments (tool wear, work offsets, minor corrections)Inspect finished parts using precision tools and validate with CMM reportsTroubleshoot machining issues, tooling concerns, and offsets to maintain quality and uptimeAccurately complete inspection and production documentationMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment aligned with 5S standardsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, setup time, and cycle timeRecommend enhancements to tooling, fixturing, and machining strategiesMonitor production and address issues in real timeWhat You Bring:Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and workholdingExperience machining a variety of metalsAbility to independently manage setups, adjustments, and quality checksDetail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and efficiencyCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementThis is a great opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturing team that values expertise, precision, and innovation in a modern machining environment.
